Greetings all. When I first noted this news item at Vanguard Players I had thought it perhaps an expansion for VG. Silly me yes I know. But I did find a positive spin to yet another marketing effort shoved in my face. Perhaps VG will be able to benefit from this game by borrowing / copying their naval combat system!
 
Let's cross our fingers and pray to the gods of copy paste code that something positive does come of this advertising at least. Original Advertisement below:

I've been following the development of PotBS for quite a few years. IMO they are doing a good job of trying to really make a good high quality game, not even near as questionable as VG was and still is.
I've had another pirate game (offline) from the devs that made the art assets for the ships. They're awesome.
It actually is one of my hottest candidates for upcoming online games.
Just sad to see it get Sonyfied yet.
