Class Leader Steps down.. for real this time :)

Hello fellow necros and community members. I wanted to let you all know something first before I post it on the main forums since you all are my second family of sorts. Yes I know, we are a bit dysfunctional at times but we are family just the same.. brothers and sisters in gore or something along those lines.

Anyway, I sent an email over to Taliskar and Avair letting them know that I had gotten too busy with real life recently due to a big promotion at work ( yay me) as well as simply having too much more on my plate to deal with so obviously I no longer think I have the time to defectively work with the community and test things myself that would be required of me to remain as the acting buffer between devs and the necro community in general.

I'll freely admit that part of this decision has been influenced by the lack of fixes on some of our major ongoing problems. Devouring shadows not stacking with multiple necros, our sub par Raid dps, despoiling Blight being FUBAR are but a few. There are only so many times one can point out a problem before frustration sets in. That frustration is then further compounded when you catch hell for not getting the stuff fixed when you are in fact doing all within your span of control to get them fixed. But I'll quit the ranting, post isn't about that

Anyway friends, I will still be around and vgnecro isn't going anywhere. Without knowing who it will be, I wish the next Class lead luck in this role and if they need anything from the site or community I hope tha they do not hesitate to ask.

And to share this with you all fully I will even let you see what I wrote to the devs. wow! group hug all, nero bonding moment! Read below:

"Heya guys.

First off, congrats again on the little one Mike. Kids are great fun, although long sleep filled nights are a thing of the past I am sure. I wanted to let you guys know that due to changes in my personal life (big promotional work and the new responsibilities associated to it) I basically do not have enough free time to do all of the things I want to do and maintain a level of involvement with the class lead role that I am satisfied with. So it is with a sad heart that I am resigning from the role. I am thankful for the opportunity that you all gave me and hope that my performance was at least satisfactory during this period.

I have had more than my share of frustration at some of the necromancer class's greater problems not getting resolved after all of this time but I understand that you all do the best you can with the manpower that you have available. Things have been getting steadily better as the month's go by so I remain optimistic that you all will get around to all of our big problems eventually. If you need a suggestion or two on who you might consider for the new necro class leader, please let me know and I'll send you a couple names of necros that have gone above and beyond the norm in sharing information and working together to find and report the various issues that we have been tackling together.

I will still be around on vgnecro though, the websites I have been involved with have always been my real passion. My partners in crime have other sites they will be bringing on as tome goes on so I know I will be part of those. AKA even busier than I am now if that is possible hehe.

As a passing reminder I wanted to share some of the current bugs with you guys again just to make sure that they remain on the radar for whenever coding hours become available: These are definitely not the only problems / concerns that the class has, Mike you know all too well from our chats where to find the full list of bugs and suggestions so feel free to login and go check those out. These are simply some of the ones that are the most annoying to the necromancer community right now:

* Despoiling Blight Broken
* Soul Blight still not stacking right
* devouring shadows can only be cast by one necro on a mob at a time
* Intelligence over 900 no longer helps our dps, once you crest that number it seems to drop dramatically.
* Necro DPS is not where it should be in raid situations, seems too low for a dps caster type by comparison to other casters and even melee.
