WOWZER! Station Access Bonus Content!

Greetings my necro brothers and sisters once more.  It seems that the marketing gurus over at SOE have found an ingenious method of making us all want to subscribe to the Station All Access Pass!  You can sign up for your all access pass, and yes.. you will be able to.... this is so exciting... wait for it... you ready ??  You will have access to....  not one... but TWO... ONLINE TRADING CARD GAMES!  WOW!  WOW!  WOW!

While I appreciate the effort of trying to throw us paying Vanguard customers a bone in order to motivate us to dump a bit more coin from our pocket to theirs, I somehow do not find the thought of being given access to online TRADING CARD GAMES to be that thrilling.  Don't get me wrong friends, I was a "Magic the gathering" freak back in the day, I had a blue / white "no you didn't" deck that would drive anyone mad within a game or two.  But it was a TRADING CARD GAME.. you know, with cards that you held, you know.. in your HANDS.  Call me a traditionalist perhaps, but an ONLINE TRADING CARD GAME pretty much kills the notion of Trading card games in general.  Bleh.  Anyway, enough of my purest ranting... on to the Vanguard related point.

I recall things like extra character slots for station access pass members I think back in EQ2 or was it SWG?!.  If you really wanted to milk us for a bit of extra monthly money you might have had a tad more luck doing something to make us want to continue playing this game.  Hrmm... let's see now, what can I come up with and not require a committee or quality action team be formed first.....

1. reduced maintenance fees on houses.
2. discounted rates from the mount masters.
3. extra character slot (although having it removed if you drop the pass program would kinda be a drag)
   
4. extra bag slot.
5. extra recall ability back to home city with a 24 hour timer maybe.

Note:  All of these above options assume that they would be toggled on and off based on your participation in the Pass Program. 

Okie there you have 5 options in 1 minute that I think would have been more appealing to those people playing Vanguard right now.  Does it help promote cross game addiction, well no.  Does it have a noted added value to my current setup and monthly subscription fee, yep.

Feel free to ignore my babble.  But I found that offer such a weak attempt to lure more dollars out of us that I was compelled to post about it.
