We now have our first level 50 necromancer (woohoo Polkadots) and as such one would expect some of the mysteries of our class to have been solved. Greetings fellow necromancers. I have gone back and done a ridiculously detailed rewrite of the quest guide for our Level 20 Feign Dead ability (aka Rest of the Dead). There were many vague areas of the quest guide previously and a couple items that were borderline inaccurate (wrong named quest mob for example). Feign Death? Why pretend when the real deal is so much more fun... simply charge into a camp of 5 dot red con critters and shout Leeroy Jenkins. You will quickly learn how to be Dead. Oh yeah, FEIGN death... right. forgot about that Feign thing, oops. Okay seriously though, Feign death as it was called in Everquest is called Rest of the Dead in Vanguard. You want to pretend you are dead? What for? You want to play tricks on the vultures… lay down on the ground and make them circle around you thinking they will have a nice snack perhaps? Well it used to be a fun thing to do in my youth at least. Ah well, so feign death you say? In this land we call is Rest of the Dead.
